More Than a Small Group

A Home Group isn't simply another church program.

It's not another class to attend or another event to add to an already busy calendar.

It's a community.

Throughout the New Testament, the church is described as a body and a family. Christians are repeatedly called to love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, serve one another, bear one another's burdens, and use their gifts to build one another up.

Those things are difficult to experience when our only interaction is sitting together in a large room once a week.

Home Groups create a smaller environment where those biblical relationships can grow.

A place where you can know others—and be known.

The Church Gathered — The Church in Homes

From its earliest days, the church experienced both large gatherings and life together in homes.

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”

Acts 2:46

Acts gives us a beautiful picture.

The believers gathered together publicly.

And they gathered personally in homes.
